Learning to speak "True Blue Aussie" 道地澳洲英文

G’day mate! How's ya day going? I am Eric from Taiwan. I’m gonna share my English learning story with you. Here we go, mate!

For learners who speak Chinese, learning English is always challenging. The grammar, the tones, the way of expressing a sentence is way different and then you have to gain confidence! Therefore, it is not easy to be fluent in English. For me, being good in English is not only for school, but for myself. I have been learning English for 15 years. I think it’s normal for most of Taiwanese, because we’ve been taking English classes at school since first or second grade in primary school, however I didn’t really enjoy the language until my freshman year in college. There were so many classes which were taught in English. I realized that learning English would allow me to access more information, therefore acquiring more knowledge. I started to find a way to expand my horizon in the language. After some practice, I found some videos and articles online and studied them by myself, it worked. I made lots of progress and it’s getting easier to understand advanced content now.

I always enjoy making new friends and language can help a lot. I had the opportunity to meet foreign friends and most of them are American and Australian. We discussed lots of cultural differences, which I enjoy the most, and even business opportunities. It’s helpful for both sides. I got the chance to know them and also I could introduce my hometown, Taiwan, to them. The benefits are definitely not just learning a new language, it’s about obtaining knowledge and exploring the world.

When I visited Australia, I was so amazed by the magnificent sceneries and how nice Aussie people were.I met my friend down there and spent heaps of time hanging out. I stayed at a host family for a couple weeks and it was so unique to spend the whole week with someone who had a different culture. The life down there was so chill. Australia is definitely one of the best places to live for human beings.

There is another feature of Australia, the language. They speak English, but it’s Aussie English. The accent and vocabulary are so different, and there’s a ton of interesting slang that I couldn’t understand. I did some research on how Aussies speak and what they would use to describe some cool situations. Aussie English is bloody awesome, mate!

Amazing Talker is more than “Amazing” for sure. I can choose my own teachers online and take classes whenever I want. It’s convenient for learners who want to be fluent in English. The classes are flexible and made only for you. I can learn whatever I need and it is definitely worth it.

I have taken classes with Charlie many times. He is an Aussie teacher and is passionate about teaching. I learn heaps of useful slang, grammar and speaking skills from Charlie. I feel relaxed during his class. I reckon a better way of learning good English is to mix it to my daily life. It might be difficult at first, but after persisting for a while, I saw the outcome and my speaking ability had reached to the next level.

I love learning English and it really makes my life energetic. Amazing Talker is the best choice to learn new languages. Charlie is a professional teacher and I can’t get enough of his classes. My favorite part is, needless to say, the Aussie culture and that bloody awesome slang mate. Cheers, Charlie!

I wanna show you some interesting slang that I learned. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
